Kevin Paden Jr is an extremely talented class of 2020 basketball prospect that attends St. Georges Technical High School in Middletown, Delaware. A very energetic and passionate player, Kevin plays with chip on his shoulder. An edge that is only outweighed by his determination to prove he can compete with anyone. Kevin handles the ball very well. He does an excellent job surveying the court at all times, and directing his teammates to be in the right positions. He possesses great quickness and speed, which makes him tough to guard and a pesky defender on the other end of the floor. Kevin is extremely fast but has the ability to be under control while playing 3 steps faster than his competition. He uses the speed to probe and breakdown defenses. He is an extremely confident and aggressive player with an ability to finish drives in the lane. He finishes right or left hand in traffic and against taller defenders.
Kevin realizes his ability to score but he also realizes the importance of making the most efficient play and getting the ball to teammates in places where they will succeed. His ability to score in bunches under the rim, from mid-range or the 3 point line combined with his point guard mentality and great basketball IQ make him a solid overall player. Kevin is also a vocal leader on and off the court, and prides himself on leading by example. He has an excellent work ethic, and is a great student athlete, representing his team as an honors student and team captain.
Kevin projects as a solid class of 2020 point guard prospect and would be an asset to many college basketball programs.

Dear Prospective Coaches:
My name is Kevin Paden Jr and I am a point guard, part of the class of 2020 at Saint Georges Technical High School in Middletown Delaware.
From the age of five I was able to pick up a basketball, I began to learn the game . I have grown up around multiple family members who are basketball players. From my coaches, uncles and cousins, I have been groomed to be not just a good basketball player, but an all-around on and off the court success. I am constantly studying the game and looking for ways to improve. I've been able to watch some of the greats in college and professional basketball and analyze the mindset and work ethic that it takes to get to the college level and succeed.
My dream is to compete on a college level, obtain a degree and one day enter the draft and play professional basketball. I am very committed to making it happen. I spend countless hours in the gym working on my game. When I am not in the gym, I am focusing on my studies in school. I understand the fact that I must succeed academically to achieve my goals and dreams.
I believe I understand the sacrifices that must be made in order to become a successful college student athlete and I enjoy this whole process of preparing for that! From staying up late to make sure homework is complete, to missing time with family and friends so that I can get a workout in; I am fully committed to earning the opportunity! I believe I can cont r ibute to your basketball program and I possess the basket ball skill and mindset a coach wants to see in their point guard.
